Welcome to the 2010 Mustad "SLOW DEATH HOOK SUCCESS STORIES" Contest! Mustad Hooks is offering visitors to The Next Bite website a chance to share their favorite fishing success story using the Mustad Slow Death Bait Hooks and have a chance to win great prizes. Simply submit your story to the email address below. Stories will be read and judged and winners chosen each month, January through June, 2010.

There will be 4 winners selected each of the six months of the contest, each receiving a Prize Package from Mustad. Then, those 24 contestants will have their names put in a Grand Prize drawing, the winner to receive the following:

1. To fish a 2010 AIM Tournament Practice Day with your choice of one of the following Mustad Pro Staffers; Gary Parsons, Keith Kavajecz, or Chase Parsons.
2. Co-Angler entry fee paid for an AIM Pro Walleye Series Tournament (maximum $250.00 Mustad responsibility)
3. Room/Lodging for the days of the AIM tournament covered (maximum $800.00 Mustad Responsibility).

Stories can be about catching any species of fish, not just walleyes, as long as the catch was in a legal manner during an open fishing season and using Mustad’s Slow Death Bait Hooks. Stories should include specific information about the presentation used with the Mustad Slow Death Hook, including bait used, line used, weighting system, etc. A photo is not required, but would be nice to add to the story. We are not looking for stories by great writers - but rather stories that describe great success with the Mustad Slow Death Bait Hook and various tactics used with this innovative hook!

All stories submitted must include your name and mailing address to complete your entry. Please send only 1 entry per month of the contest, and please keep stories to a maximum of 1000 words. If you are sending your story as an attachment to an email, please send it in a text only document.
