Keith Kavajecz 2009 Tournament & TV Rig
BOAT
Make: Tracker
Model: Tundra 21DC
Length: 21'3"
Width: 96"
Weight: 1900 lbs.

Electronics/LowranceNet: This year my boat is rigged with Lowrance's new HDS Units. I run a HDS 10 and HDS 8 on the console, a HDS 10 on the bow, and a HDS 5 in the back of the boat for trolling applications. I have these units hooked together via the LowranceNet network. This type of networking system allows you to add things to the system and certain information can be shared between devices (GPS data, etc.).
In addition, I configure my to units to share waypoints. This means that when I save a waypoint on either unit, the other unit will also save the waypoint. This is very advantageous when searching for fish. If I see a fish on my console unit and save a waypoint. I can then go up on my bow unit, start fishing and see exactly where I pressed the waypoint.
I mount the larger sonar/GPS units on RAM-D-111U-C Ram Mounts for great stability and flexibility. For small units, including my Lowrance Marine Band Radio, I use RAM 111 Universal Mounts.
Rod Holders: I run a total of 10 RAM-117 Rod Holders on this boat. Six are mounted in the rear area for trolling with four mounted in the bow area for bottom bouncer fishing, etc.
Other Rigging Notes: Battery lay-out: 3 used for trolling motor (36 volt), 2 set up in parallel for starting and running electronics and accessories.
Keith's boat is also rigged with Smooth Moves Seat Mounts for a smooth ride.![]()
