I just got the new BPS catalog about a week ago and I didn't see anythink new by Motor Guide but one prop. I'm getting the MK I-Polit for my Terrova, I know that your a Motor Guide guy, but the Terrova is awesome with Auto & Copolit. I can't wait to see how much better it is with the I-Polit. I hope you figure out what your going to do, if we lived closer I'd take you out and show you my Terrova and why I like it so much, good luck.

Chad thanks yes I know about the I-Pilot and will probably get the Terova with I-Pilot just wanted to know if MotorGuide was going to come out with an auto pilot add on. I do like my Wireless but hey fishing would be so much easier with the auto pilot

As far as I know, Minnkota has the patend on having an electric motor track based on compass direction (auto pilot).

As far as I know, Motorguide has the patend on "depth tracking" that is why you have not seen both features in one motor.

Oh I know about the depth tracking but that won't work too well on Lake Erie since most of the bottom in an area is the same depth that will cause the unit to spin circles and not know where to go. All I need it to do is steer straight so I can set lines and fight fish.

Too bad they can't combine them to make a wonderful unit.
