Q: Which leader material (steel, sevenstrand or fluorocarbonn) is best for muskie fishing and does it change depending on the type of fishing we are doing, ie, steel leaders the length of the lure for twitching, nylon coated sevenstrand for trolling? I recently watched a video where the guide on LOTW used sevenstrand leaders more than six feet long for trolling. Do you have any recommendations based upon your experience or does it boil down to personal preference? Thanks for your comments.
