have 2 hds 7s  . one on bow and one on comsole . was fishing a tourny yesterday and the unit on bow lit up when i turned it on but woulnt power up . all i had was the lit screen with the lowrance logo. i turned it back off and about one pm i tried it and it came up.  the unit on the front  worked fine all day. any ideas on why it wouldnt power up.  thanks

Wondering if anyone else has come across this issue?  I have a HDS7 with StructureScan.  StructureScan has toggle switch.  Everytime I turn the key to start the main motor, the HDS7 restarts.  Very frustrating.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Ever since I purchased my pontoon boat to fish from I have had a problem with losing the bottom at just above trolling speeds. The problem was self created by me adding all my goodies to the back of the boat creating a huge weight difference between fore and aft. I tried many mounting depths with no change.

Iowa provides lakes structure maps with GPS coordinates on them. I want to transfer those coordinates to the iFinder H2O manually. I actually did it once but have never been able to find it in the manual or be able to remember what i did?

Can someone help me with this ???

Hi guy's, I am trying to do a waypoint transfer on a new unit and keep getting a error message that the "Files are not the same" .

I have a LMS 522 and my Freedom Maps Card works Fine. I take it out and put in my new HDS 5 and nothing!! It says it has located satellites. I also went into menu and made sure that it is on Lowrance not Navionics. I also upgraded the unit to the new software. I am now lost !! Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

try to make this make sense. i have a hds8 on the bow of my boat networked using NEMA 2000 with a lcx 111 on the dash running a 2000 puck and everything works great. my problem is i moved my hds to the dash along side my lcx for salmon fishing.

Hi,i have a lowarnce LMS522i sounder/gps with a navionics card (gold). Sounder works great but when in chartplotter mode the depth lines are not visible and thenumbers that indicate depth are. I tried to go through setting adjusting contrast/brightness and map options, then reset sounder to factory options and still no luck.

I would like to change my sonar/gps from a LCX17m to HDS-8. I have my current unit installed with the 200 transducer with temperature and the paddle wheel speedometer and LCG-2000 GPS module. Can the new HDS-8 use the same transducer and GPS module? Will it display speed from my paddlewheel speedometer? Will my power cords work with the new unit?

 Just ordered one, all I have now is Garmin handheld GPS, so can you name your WP's on it. Also does it use a different format for GPS #'s and if so can you change it over to the same format as a Garmin?

While out this weekend I noticed my backlight on my HDS10 started to act a little funny...

Trying  to network these two units . I followed the  directions I was given from tech support at lowrance . Made sure the17 which is the one with the lgc 2000 was used as the output and the x15 was used as the input. Made sure the baud rate was 4800 on both.

I tried an older Gray connector transducer on my HDS and I noticed that the clarity isn't nearly as good as with a blue connector transducer.

Although they work, can someone clarify why they don't work as well? Is it a different sheilding in the cable or something? Both at 200KHZ transducer (HS-WBX & HST-WSBL).

 I can't find if the emulators will work with my mac mini or one for the Elite 5 which I am going to but with-in the week. My mac processor is a IntelCore 2 Duo running OS 10.5.8. Not real good with puter stuff. Any help?

My Lowrance LMS-337c packed it in.  I was told that the new HDS-5 units would work with my LGC 2000 puck.  But although the connectilons look the same, I cannot get them connected.  My old wiring has a blue connector while on the HDS-5 it's yellow.  Is there an adapter or do I need to upgrade to the 4000? 

Sorry if this sounds trivial but I'm new to this.
